Age Requirements

Driver

To drive the UTV (side by side) you must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license. UTV’s handle really well in the soft sand. They drive more like a car. You are seatbelted in and have a rollbar overhead.

We do not allow groups of minors without their parents or legal guardians present. No exceptions

Passenger

The youngest passenger should not be younger than 3 years of age. They must keep their helmet on while in the machine. The UTV seats are low so often little ones need their booster or car seat to avoid getting motion sickness.

Solo Travelers

Because our machines require a minimum of two people per machine, our solo travelers have the option to ride as a passenger with one of our guides and pay the passenger price. Or if you prefer to drive you would need to book one driver & one passenger.

Safety

At Coral Pink ATV Tours, our goal is to provide a unique scenic tour with all of our guest's safety the top priority.  Our experienced guides are familiar with the terrain and shifting elements.  They will guide you through the safest trails and peaks of the sand dunes.  Please note some safety requirements:

  1. Drivers will not be able to hold a camera/phone while driving, both hands must be on the wheel at all times

  2. Fishtails, burnouts, drifting, etc are not allowed. The sand is extremely soft and puts the driver at risk to flip our machines over

  3. Everyone must wear a helmet at all times (helmets will be provided) No exceptions!

  4. We always start the tour at a safe slow pace as our riders get familiar with the machine and the terrain. We do not go over 20 - 25 miles an hour during the tour. Everyone on tour goes at the same speed throughout the tour. Slowing down to speed up is not permitted and puts all guests and guides in danger.

  5. We require adequate space (about a vehicle lengths apart) in between each machine on tour. Tailgating is not allowed

  6. Everyone on the tour must follow the Guide at all times. We do not allow our guests to leave the tour and drive without the guide.

  7. We love our furry friends but for their safety and the safety of our guests, they will not be able to join us on the tour.

  8. All Guests should be in good health to participate in the tour.

  9. At least one member from your group must speak and understand English to translate safety instructions to the rest of your group.

  10. At no time will guests be allowed to explore the dunes on their own or have “free” time to ride without the guide. Unfortunately, that’s when accidents happen. If you are looking for that type of experience THIS IS NOT the appropriate experience for you.

  11. All guests are expected to respect our machines and equipment.
